This was one of the first flight levels the team worked on. This presented me with a specific set of challenges to overcome. Primarily that we had not implemented some of the more advance features of our engine yet. This meant that I needed to create a flight level that would fit in a relatively small area. To overcome this challenge I created a level that would wind around one of the islands of the over world. The final asset is one that still gives the player the feeling of a dramatic chase all while hiding from them that they are mostly flying in circles.

 

I was also responsible for the creation and setups for the enemies. As this was the first level I wanted to keep things simple. The challenge is meant to be in the chase itself.
